Note: This is for the current Windows version of Materialise; the Mac version will look differently.

If for whatever reason you were unable to update the latest print profiles, are retrieving them from an old project, or have been provided some by Leapfrog Technical Support, this solution link will guide you how to manually import them into Materialise. Let's get started:

Note: If you haven't already, download the .BPPROF file(s) and note the locate that you save them. If you want the latest from our website you can download them here: www.LPFRG.com - Materialise Software, Manual, and Print Profiles Downloads. (This will require you to have an active internet connection.)

Search for the Build Processor Manager program on your computer and open it:

(Here is an example from Windows' Start menu.)

Once the window is open, select the print model that you want to import the profiles to (unless you have more than one Leapfrog 3D Printer model, the only one available will already be selected), and click the Configure button at the top of the window.

Find the "Edit Profiles" button in the bottom left corner and click it.

Locate the "Import" button at the top of the "Edit Profiles" window, and click it.

Browse for the .BPPROF file in the location that you previous downloaded/extracted it to, select it, and click the Open button.

A window will open asking you which of the profiles you want to import; if you notice in the advanced options, "Import and keep both" is the default. Keep this option selected ONLY if you are adding to your current profiles.

If you downloaded the LATEST profiles from our website, you will most likely want to select "Import and replace" as it will get very confusing if you use the default "Import and keep both"; an example result of this is shown below:

(This can be a confusing mess if you select the "Import and keep both" when you really just wanted to replace the old ones with the latest/newest profiles.)

If you do this by accident, click the "Cancel" button in the bottom right and do NOT save the changes when prompted:

Verify that the profile loaded by expanding and checking the categories that for the added profile(s). If you are updating all of them with the latest from our website, then this will be hard to tell. When you're done, click "OK" in the bottom right corner to save the profiles to the categories.

Congratulations! You've successfully imported print profiles in Materialise. Though no one will really care if you add "I am able to import .BPPROF files" to your resume/CV, it is comforting to know that you have obtained a better understanding of Creatr software powered by Materialise!
